Rambly is a voice journal app. This page describes what the current Android beta collects and how it is used. It is a minimal notice for Play testing — not a full commercial privacy policy.

What stays on your phone

• Journal text you save (summaries, tags, slider values)
• Voice recordings attached to sessions, when you record
• App settings and local analytics events queued for upload

Friend beta stores this in on-device SQLite. Drive sync is not enabled in this build.

What requires sign-in

You sign in with Google through Supabase Auth. We receive your Google account email to manage beta access (invite codes or allowlist).

What is sent to AI services (hosted beta)

When you use Talk, End session, session reflection, follow-up prompts, or Mix Insights, audio or text is sent from our server to:

• xAI — speech-to-text for voice chunks
• DeepSeek — extract, reflection, follow-up questions, and period insights

API keys stay on our server; they are not embedded in the app. Usage is metered (daily caps). Journal plaintext is not stored in our cloud database.

What we store in the cloud

• Authentication identity (Google-linked Supabase user)
• Beta access (invite code redemptions, expiry, quotas)
• Daily usage meters (speech seconds, extract counts, AI token pools)
• Product analytics events (funnel and errors — no journal body)

What we do not do in this beta

• Sell your journal or use it for advertising
• Train third-party models on your content (beyond processing your request)
• Offer Play Billing or cloud backup yet

Account and data deletion

Rambly (by MineantStudio) is in friend / public beta. To request deletion of your cloud account (Google-linked sign-in identity, beta access, usage meters, and product analytics tied to your user ID):

1. Sign out in the app (Me → Account → Sign out).
2. Contact the project owner through the same channel that issued your beta invite (email or messenger) and ask to delete your account. Include the Google email you used to sign in.
3. We delete cloud-side account and analytics data within a reasonable time (typically within 30 days). Authentication records are removed via Supabase.

On-device data (saved journals, voice recordings, photos, settings) stays on your phone until you uninstall the app or clear app storage in Android settings. Friend beta does not sync journals to our cloud.

Without deleting your account: you can turn off usage analytics in Me → Settings. Journal entries can be edited or removed in the app.

Children

Rambly is not directed at children under 13.
